Individual registrations should start from the calendar so course, date and fee stay attached through checkout.
FAQs
Important information before training.
Search practical guidance for course selection, fees, cancellation, certification, classroom programs, live-online delivery and international participation.

Exam add-ons are separate unless a specific batch clearly states that certification is included.
A colleague can usually attend in your place up to 48 hours before the workshop.
The team can guide visa documentation, accommodation and travel planning for confirmed participants.
Training
These programs are for maintenance engineers, reliability engineers, plant managers, lubrication technicians, oil-analysis professionals, production leaders and anyone responsible for equipment reliability. The learning connects daily lubrication practice to machine life, downtime and proactive maintenance.
The programs replace common lubrication myths with practical, research-backed methods for lubricant selection, storage, handling, contamination control and condition monitoring. The goal is better machine life, lower lubricant waste and less unplanned downtime.
The Institute normally recommends the basic course first. If you have already gained the same foundational knowledge through your work, an advanced course can still be suitable. The team can help confirm the right starting point before you register.
Training materials are supplied as hard copy, soft copy or both, depending on the course and delivery format. The confirmed registration communication explains what applies to your selected batch.
Each course page explains its learning focus. A detailed brochure can be requested from the relevant course page when you need the outline for approval or planning.
A standard live-online interactive course normally runs three to four days. A standard classroom course is generally three days, including the certification examination where that is part of the selected program. In-house programs typically run two to five days based on the agreed objectives, and selected self-paced programs are available for three months.
Live-online registration normally includes training fees and the applicable hard or soft-copy manual. Classroom registration normally includes training fees, the manual and lunch, tea or coffee, and snacks during each program day. Participants also receive a one-year digital subscription to Machinery Lubrication India, along with the digital newsletter and lube tips. The confirmed fee card states any optional certification or third-party examination component separately.
Registration and payment
For individual registrations, use the secure online checkout when it is available for the selected course and billing country. Company participants can request an invoice, purchase-order, NEFT or RTGS route. Cheque or demand-draft arrangements can be discussed with the training team before payment. Registration is confirmed after the applicable payment succeeds.
The website shows the exact full course fee. For eligible Indian cards, secure checkout displays the available tenure, monthly instalment, interest and processing fee after the issuing bank checks eligibility. Because those terms vary by card and bank, no single monthly amount is advertised before the eligibility check.
Choose a course date from the calendar, enter the participant details and continue through the registration and payment route. The course, date and displayed billing currency stay attached to the registration so the next step is not a generic contact form.
Send the course, preferred date, participant or team details and your training representative's contact information. The team can provide the relevant course, fee and schedule details for internal approval.
Corporate or group discounts can be confirmed with the team. The legacy program policy offers 5% for four or more nominations and 10% for six or more nominations. For a larger plant team, an in-house program can be tailored to the site.
Yes. Select company billing or contact the training team with the course, attendee count and billing contact. The team can advise on an invoice, proforma invoice, purchase-order or bank-transfer route before payment.
For a scheduled individual registration, the selected course, date and fee continue into checkout. For team, invoice or special requests, the training team reviews availability and the information needed to confirm the next step.
Cancellation and changes
A colleague can be substituted up to 48 hours before the workshop without a charge or penalty. You can also request a move to a future program date or location, subject to availability. Send the replacement participant's name and contact information to the training team.
For classroom training, 100% of training charges are refundable less applicable bank or transaction charges when cancellation is at least three weeks before the training date. Within three weeks, a 15% cancellation fee applies. For live-online interactive training, the same rule applies with a two-week window. There is no refund for cancellation on the training day, subject to limited exceptions discussed with the team. The complete policy is available in the Cancellation and Refund Policy page.
Applicable shipping charges are not refundable. If a training manual has already been shared, Rs. 20,000 is deducted from the refund amount. Digital training manuals are assigned only after the registration fee has been received.
If a program cannot be organized because of unforeseen circumstances beyond the Institute's control, the participant can be offered a seat in a forthcoming program or a full refund subject to the deductions stated in the cancellation policy.
Certification
Relevant certification-track programs can include an optional ICML certification examination. The exact certification arrangement for a selected batch is confirmed before registration.
The International Council for Machinery Lubrication, or ICML, awards the relevant independent certification. ICML controls its own eligibility, examination and certification requirements.
No. The certification examination is optional and carries a separate fee unless it is expressly included in the confirmed registration for a particular batch.
The primary pathways include MLA I, MLA II, MLA III, MLT I, MLT II and MLE. Use the course pathway to compare the level that matches the work you do on site.
ICML certification is internationally recognized and gives employers a clear signal that the professional has reached an independent benchmark in lubrication, oil analysis or lubrication program leadership.
Classroom training
Yes. The team can help participants with local arrangements and may share negotiated hotel or intercity travel options. Email the dates and requirements in advance so the right support can be arranged.
The exact venue within the confirmed city is normally finalized closer to the event. Venue, connectivity routes and directions are shared by email and phone before the program.
Classroom training generally runs from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Final timings are shared in advance and may be adjusted to suit the location and the confirmed program plan.
The pre-course email includes the local Lubrication Institute representative's contact details. Please inform that representative if you expect a delay.
Live-online training
Participants receive a meeting link and calendar invitation in advance. Questions can be sent through meeting chat or asked during the session at an appropriate time.
The team provides a test link for meeting-platform compatibility, a getting-started video and the final joining link and timing through the registered email address before the program.
A recording link may be provided when a participant misses training because of unexpected work. Where offered, access is available for one month.
International participants
Yes. The International Nominations desk can help with Indian visa documentation, travel and accommodation guidance for participants from South Asia, the Middle East and other locations. This support is available at no additional cost.
At selected training locations, partner hotels may offer concessional tariffs to both international and domestic participants. Ask the training team early so availability and current rates can be checked.
